Why?

I’m living in Bavaria for the next few days. Please read my words if you like that sort of thing. My thoughts are simple though, and I’m a firm believer in less screen time for better life-time. The only thought I’d love for you to take away is that of Cliff Jumping: leaping off the ground you’re used to, expecting to fall, yet trusting that the experience will be not only thrilling but repeatable. God is boundlessly providing cliffs for me and so I invite you to a year of cliff jumping with me.

“Who said anything about safe? ‘Course He isn’t safe. But He’s good. He’s the King.”       -C.S. Lewis,  The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe

Let us not wish our lives different. Don’t daydream about doing greater things, do your real day with great dedication. Don’t say: “I wish I was not stuck here,” say instead: “I will approach all people and activities today with perfection and great love.” Let us strive above all to love, for love perfects all we do (col3:14) most perfectly.
